I wrote a post about a year ago about my experience when I bought two boxes of Yusof Taiyoob dates. I described my frustration about the quality of the date in one of the two boxes.
A year later, in month of Ramadhan, more comments pouring in from the visitors. Most of them asking about information on how to be an agent or how to get this stuff in bulk. Some on them related their not so good experiences, which nowhere that could know their intention were. I also have deleted quite a few negative comments that incited hatred to each others or insult.
Two weeks after Aidulfitri, a comment posted on this post from claimed to be from Yusof Taiyoob (Dato’) himself. Claiming the commenters’ intention to discredit his company brand. He warned to lodge a police report on commenters and maybe also myself for slander.
Again, there is no way for me to know the comment and the threat were genuine as claimed to be from Yusof Taiyoob.
But one thing I know for sure, Allah forbid us from doing something that may be a subject of fitnah. May Allah forgive us, and may us be orang2 yang bertaqwa.
To Yusof Taiyoob, apologized. But for sure, my past experience was true. My only intention was to warn buyers to be careful when buying and I have no idea that you would later read my post. Just a piece of advice, marilah kita contohi Nabi Muhammad SAW dalam setiap perkara. Moga2 kita peroleh redha Allah dan syafaat dari Rasullulah.
